Café Lumière started in 2016 when founder Marie Delacroix left a career in design to pursue the thing she loved most — creating spaces that felt alive. The result was a 40-seat café on a quiet corner of Shoreditch that quickly became one of East London's most-loved spots.

Eight years later, we're still doing exactly the same thing: obsessing over the quality of our ingredients, the warmth of our service, and the feeling of our space. Nothing is automated, nothing is compromised.

We source our beans directly from 14 smallholder farms across Ethiopia, Colombia, Guatemala, and Kenya — visiting each one at least once a year. We know the farmers by name. We think that matters.
